Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - 1970 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC).

Additional Details:

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Unit Details: Nurses only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians.

Required Skills/Experience: Strong telemetry skills; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.

Required Credentials: Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting, within 48 hours of offer. 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the Angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test on Day 1 of orientation and must pass with 85% or better.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation. Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
