Job Details:

• Provide behavioral health services to individual patients across the lifespan in an outpatient setting
• Part-time or full-time availability; Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm schedule with no evenings or weekends
• Primarily outpatient practice with the possibility of a rotating schedule for inpatient and ED consults
• Conduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications
• Provide integrated mental health services within general health settings
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, and support staff
• Seek consultation and refer patients to other providers when clinically necessary
• Collaborate with other departments and specialties to effectively treat patients with complex medical needs and comorbid mental health concerns
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills while working independently and collaboratively
• Build rapport with patients, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
• Pediatric experience and competence preferred, though not required
• MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry required
• ABPP certification preferred, though not required
• Child/adolescent certification preferred, though not required
• Must successfully complete credentialing process prior to practice
