Physical Therapist Assistant

JOB SUMMARY
Provide skilled physical therapy treatment to patients under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist. Assist patients in regaining mobility and functional independence through prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities. Key Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and provide regular feedback to the Physical Therapist.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
- Proficient in performing therapeutic exercises and modalities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Empathy and patience in patient care.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
