Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in the state of Delaware (or compact eligible)
• Previous nursing experience in pediatric, school, or public health settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Current CPR/First Aid certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day health services to students, including administering medications and managing chronic conditions
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential student health records
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to support individualized health plans (IEPs/504s)
• Promote health education and preventive care across the school community
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and healthy learning environment
