Maintenance Technician

Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technicianis responsible forinspecting, troubleshooting, repairing,maintaining, and documenting service work for portable sanitation systems, water and wastewater equipment, pumps, tanks, plumbing systems, and other site service infrastructure. This role supports Holy Dippers' commitment to providing safe, reliable, and responsive service on large-scale construction and industrial projects. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring allsite sanitation and wastewater systemsremainoperational.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEquipment Maintenance & RepairsInspect, troubleshoot, repair, andmaintainportable restroom systems and related equipment.Diagnose mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and operational issues.Repair pumps, plumbing components, hoses, valves, fittings, freshwater systems, and wastewater systems.Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled service work.Assistwith equipment installation, setup, relocation, and removal.Completeequipmentwinterization and seasonal maintenance activities.Maintain office trailer wastewater systems, water tanks, and related site infrastructure.Service OperationsRespond to maintenance service requests ina timelyand professional manner.Prioritize equipment repairs based on operational needs and safety concerns.Assistsanitation, water hauling, and wastewater service teams as needed.Support emergency maintenance activities during equipment failures and site outages.Coordinate with supervisors and dispatch personnelregardingservice priorities and equipment status.Documentation & ReportingComplete digital work orders, maintenance tickets, inspections, and reports using company software.Record detailed notesregardingrepairs, diagnostics, labor, and materials used.Capture required photographs for quality assurance and customer reporting.Ensure all maintenance activities are accurately documented and closed out daily.Maintain service recordsin accordance withcompany and customer requirements.Safety & ComplianceParticipate in daily safety meetings, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Stretch & Flex activities.Follow all Holy Dippers, OSHA, customer, and site-specific safety requirements.Wear appropriate PPE at all times.Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and equipment concernsimmediately.Maintain a zero-incident mindset and contribute to a safe work environment.General ResponsibilitiesArrive to work on time andpreparedfor daily assignments.Maintain a professional appearance and represent Holy Dippers positively on customer sites.Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized.Operate company vehicles and equipment safely.Performadditionalduties asassigned by management.QualificationsRequiredValid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.Ability tooperatesmartphones, tablets, and digital work-order systems.Strong communicationskills and attention to detail.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Ability to pass required drug and alcohol screening programs.PreferredExperience in maintenance, plumbing, wastewater, sanitation, construction, or industrial services.Knowledge of pumps, tanks, water systems, and plumbing components.Experience working on active construction or industrial sites.Experience with preventive maintenance programs and digital maintenance tracking systems.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and walking.Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and emergencycall-outswhenrequired.BenefitsTools providedCompetitive payOvertime opportunitiesCompany-provided uniforms and PPETechnology-driven work environmentCareer growth opportunitiesOngoing training and developmentSafety-focused cultureAbout Holy DippersHoly Dippers is a nationwide provider of industrial site services specializing in liquid waste disposal, potable water hauling, sanitation services, maintenance support, and technology-driven operations for large construction and industrial projects.
