Needed for One On One School Nurse or Health Office!
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work with our company for a School District within the Houston area. We are looking for clinicians to join our per diem team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care and treatment in a school setting
- Collaborate with registered nurses and district personnel to administer prescribed medications per care plan
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
- Follow emergency and safety procedures as directed by the school
- Communication with Children/Teens, parents and school administration
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or another medical field a plus
- Ability to build rapport with patients, parents and school personnel
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility, detail orientated & takes initiative
Compliance Requirement:
- LVN License
- BLS
