Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Family Law Attorney role based in Dallas, TX. The Family Law Attorney will manage a caseload involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement actions, modifications, and related family law matters. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, and handling correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, and the court. The attorney will conduct and defend depositions, participate in mediations and settlement negotiations, and appear in court for hearings and trials. The role also involves case strategy development, maintaining organized case files, and collaborating with support staff and other attorneys to deliver efficient, high-quality representation.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and Family Law, with the ability to analyze complex family-related legal issues.
- Experience identifying, assessing, and resolving a broad range of Legal Issues in family law matters.
- Proficiency in drafting and arguing Motions, including temporary orders, enforcement, and modification pleadings.
- Hands-on experience preparing for, conducting, and defending Depositions in contested family law cases.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or eligibility for prompt admission).
- Prior experience as a Family Law Attorney or substantial family law exposure through practice, clinics, or clerkships strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, including clear client communication and effective courtroom presentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, multiple cases, and high-volume documentation.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and a client-centered approach, including sensitivity to clients in emotionally challenging situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff in an on-site environment in Dallas, TX.
