What you will do:

• Conducting incoming receiving and receiving inspections
• Utilizing a computer system to create and view comprehensive records of receipt/inspection
• Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas
• Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined warehouse location
• Read work orders and computer system notes for material to be received, moved, inspected, or put away
• Creating discrepant material reports / entering nonconformance data into a computer system
• Quarantine non-conforming materials as required, and report on discrepancies
• Utilizing hand tools necessary to measure part dimensions and features to specifications
• Communication of inspection results to various internal groups and external suppliers
• Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock as needed

What you will bring:

• Strong mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals
• Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Must be able to identify/recognize inspection errors
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Ability to adapt to an everchanging work environment
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Word, MS Excel software

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Mix of shop floor and office work environments
• Forklift certification, we will certify you

Location: This role is based in Oceanside, CA

Work hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm

Salary Range:

• This is a non-exempt position and pays between $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California.
