Special Education Paraprofessional

Dedicated to supporting students with disabilities in a virtual learning environment, the part-time hourly Special Education Paraprofessional will deliver academic assistance, implement IEP accommodations, and monitor student progress while collaborating with a team of educators. Key responsibilities Deliver direct academic support to students with disabilities, reinforcing instructional content and guiding assignments Assist in implementing IEP accommodations and modifications to ensure students receive necessary services Monitor student participation and progress, providing timely updates to the instructional team Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary coursework or an associate's degree preferred At least one qualification: passing score on the ParaPro Praxis, ACT WorkKeys Basic Skills Assessment, associate's degree, or two years of college coursework Experience supporting students with disabilities in an academic setting Comfortable working within virtual learning platforms and digital tools Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment
