Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown role with frequent floating to ICU and Med/Surg units, requiring at least 2 years of PCU/Stepdown/ICU experience and an active SC RN license. Requirements Active SC RN license or compact license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of PCU, Stepdown, or ICU experience required ICU clinical experience is required in addition to PCU/Stepdown experience due to floating requirements Must be comfortable floating frequently between Stepdown, ICU, and Med/Surg units Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Two professional references required for consideration Valid government-issued driver\'s license and Social Security card required for consideration Responsibilities Primary assignment is a 21-bed Stepdown/PCU unit with frequent floating required to ICU and Med/Surg units Patient ratios vary by unit: Stepdown 1:4-5, ICU 1:2, Med/Surg 1:5-6 Patient population includes NSTEMIs, post-cardiac cath with intervention, vascular surgery (fem-pop, CEA), CIWA protocol, peritoneal dialysis, and wound care Non-titrating drips administered including Amiodarone, NTG, Cardizem, Lopressor, and Cardene Equipment used includes stable BiPAP, heated high-flow oxygen ( Hemodialysis is performed in the Dialysis Department EMR system is Meditech Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend (EOW) required Candidates must be fully comfortable with frequent floating across Stepdown, ICU, and Med/Surg units — this is a core expectation of the role Orientation is held every Wednesday Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue and White Travel nursing experience is preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
