Position Summary
The Trainer is responsible for delivering an unmatched member experience while upholding Burn Boot Camp brand standards. Trainers lead high-energy group workouts, foster community, support members in achieving their goals, and help grow the member base through relationship building, promotions, and community engagement.

This role requires the ability to coach and motivate multiple members in a group setting while creating an encouraging environment centered around lifestyle, mindset, nutrition, strength, conditioning, consistency, and community.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Burn Boot Camp’s training philosophy, core values, standards, membership rates, current promotions, team goals, Burn lingo, and the “Three C’s”
• Deliver and maintain the Blue Carpet Experience (BCE)
• Create a welcoming, energetic environment where every member feels seen and valued
• Maintain professionalism while building strong relationships with members and teammates
• Engage with members both in-person and through social media platforms
• Ensure participant safety by demonstrating proper exercise technique and providing modifications for all fitness levels
• Reset and organize equipment following each camp
• Promptly communicate facility or equipment needs to the Training Manager
• Conduct focus meetings for active members and trial members during designated times
• Maintain all required certifications including CPR/AED and complete ongoing education through Burn HQ and the Burn Learning Portal
• Stay current on Burn updates and trainer education through Burn HQ and the Burn Trainer Forum
• Communicate consistently through Basecamp for team updates and communication
• Attend monthly training team meetings
• Participate in camps regularly and lead by example
• Assist with Kids Camps, Pop-Up Camps, community events, in-gym events, and member workshops
• Collaborate with the Training Manager and team on social media content and engagement
• Work alongside the BA team to stay updated on the Trial Tracker and trainer follow-ups
• Convert promotional and trial members into committed memberships
• Assist with additional operational responsibilities including:

  • Schedule support

Qualifications

• Current Certified Personal Trainer certification
• CPR/AED Certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive, motivating, and professional attitude
• Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
• High energy with strong leadership presence during camps
• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset
• Flexible schedule and growth mindset
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable using social media platforms
