CERTIFIED WELD INSPECTOR (CWI)

Key Responsibilities Harris Machine is seeking a highly skilled and certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of welding processes, standards and practices and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of welds in our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Conduct thorough inspections of welds, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications. Monitor and review welding procedures and practices to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements. Document and report inspection findings, including any non-conformances and recommended corrective actions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address welding issues and implement solutions. Assist in the development and review of welding procedures, specifications, and standards. Stay current with industry advancements and updates to welding codes and standards.
