Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the role of RN Wound Supervisor.

As the RN Wound Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate resident’s needs through ongoing assessment and revises care plan based on changes in resident’s condition.

• Provide clinical supervision to LPNs and CNAs.

• Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care plans

• Instruct individuals, families on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and develop health improvement programs.

• Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess resident’s condition; Modify resident treatment plans as indicated by residents’ responses and conditions.

• Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in residents’ conditions; Must be able to maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

What You Need

• Active unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly organized and detail oriented.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• This is a salaried/exempt position.
