RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 3 years of experience required

• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted

• New York license required in hand to submit

• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement

• Required certifications: BLS, CNOR

• Dress code: Teal scrubs

• Block scheduling preferred but not guaranteed

• Call required

• Patient ratio: 1:1

• 14-bed operating room with diverse surgical cases

• Must have experience in orthopedic-total joint and trauma, neurosurgery, GYN/Urology, vascular, and thoracic procedures

• Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement required

• Candidates within 75 miles of facility not accepted

• Floating required

• Minimal requested time off preferred

• Pre-start modules required (billable up to 5 hours)

• Extensive surgical skills required including general OR, bariatric procedures, vascular surgeries, thoracic procedures, ENT surgeries, gynecological procedures, neurosurgery, orthopedic procedures, plastic surgery, podiatry, and urological procedures

• Must be proficient with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System

• Knowledge of safety protocols including fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, and infection control required
