Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized intensive care nursing to critically ill patients in a hospital setting. Ensure high-quality patient care through advanced clinical skills and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to identify changes in condition and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following physicians' orders and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to on-call and emergent situations, including floating to different campuses as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, including travel and on-call requirements.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid Ohio or Compact state nursing license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent ICU travel experience, with a preference for 2 years.
• Be ACLS and BLS certified.
• Demonstrate ability to float across multiple campuses and handle on-call duties promptly.
• Have Epic experience preferred.
• Able to work a 3x12-hour day shift from 7:00 to 19:00.
