Key Responsibilities:

• Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call duties.
• Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
• Oversee a growing dental program that serves approximately 70,000 veterans.
• Responsible for the effective management and supervision of dental services.
• Provide administrative, programmatic, clinical, and academic oversight to ensure the dental program meets the needs of veterans.
• Ensure compliance with standards set by relevant accrediting organizations for dental programs.
• Monitor performance metrics, manage resources efficiently, and adhere to budget constraints while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Develop orientation and training programs for dental staff and address service-related needs and concerns.
• Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program may be available (up to $200,000 over five years).

What We Offer:

• Competitive Salary: Ranges from $290,000 to $318,000.

Preferred Experience:

• Board certification in dentistry is required.
• Fellowship training and previous leadership experience are preferred.
• Evidence of scholarly activities, such as research, education, and publications, is desirable.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; non-citizen candidates may be considered if no suitable U.S. citizen is found.
• Possession of a current, unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia is necessary.
