Details Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week) No on-call responsibilities Uses Meditech charting system Required to float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, on a department-based rotation Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required in hand Minimum of 18 months of Labor & Delivery experience required Required certifications upon start: BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring ACLS certification preferred IV insertion skills required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide labor and delivery nursing care including fetal monitoring and IV insertion Interview process includes a Nurse Manager interview Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as locals are not accepted for this position Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time American Traveler Job ID P-750272.
