Family Law Paralegal

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well‑established and highly regarded firm in the DMV area seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their Bethesda, MD office. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, client‑centered team and work closely with attorneys on a wide range of family law matters. Position Overview Support attorneys across all phases of family law matters from intake through resolution Serve as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining professionalism and discretion Manage multiple cases in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment Responsibilities Draft, prepare, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence Manage case files from opening through closing, including organization and document management Track deadlines and ensure compliance with Maryland, DC, and Virginia court rules and procedures Prepare, review, organize, and analyze discovery materials, including interrogatories and document productions Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys Assist with hearings, depositions, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness binders Prepare and file documents across MD, DC, and VA courts, including MDEC, CaseFileXpress, and Virginia e‑filing systems Qualifications 5-7 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on family law Strong knowledge of Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia court rules and procedures Experience with e‑filing systems across relevant jurisdictions Proven ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines Strong drafting experience across pleadings, motions, and discovery If interested, please apply with a copy of your resume in Word or PDF format.
