Construction Superintendent - New Construction

About The Position DevCo US Construction is hiring for a Full‑Time Construction Superintendent to join our multi‑family development project in Mesa, AZ! The Site Superintendent will ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, meet quality standards, and are performed safely. The Site Superintendent will oversee all daily operations on the construction site. Compensation Annual Salary: $115,000 to $140,000 + Performance bonus target of 15% Schedule Monday‑Friday (as agreed upon with the hiring manager) Benefits Offered 100% company paid medical, dental, and vision benefits for employee coverage Healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts Company‑paid life insurance, AD&D and long‑term disability benefits for employee coverage Best‑in‑class voluntary insurance benefits Pre‑tax and Roth 401(k) programs with company match equal to 100% of the first 4% contributed by the employee Discretionary bonus programs Eligibility for a 30% housing discount consideration Employee assistance program (EAP) with 24/7 counseling service Company‑sponsored industry training and certifications 3 weeks of paid time off each year Up to 12 paid holidays each year Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan and set up the job site, prepare and maintain the Project Schedule, and ensure life/safety plans are developed and implemented Oversee Assistant Superintendent for scheduling of materials, equipment, manpower, and subcontractors to meet project schedule and quality Review and approve updated project schedule and distribute to subcontractors Monitor work pace and quality, and prepare status reports with Project Manager Direct allocation of project resources (manpower, materials, equipment) and maintain accurate daily records Supervise entire construction field staff, ensuring project deadlines are met Anticipate and overcome project challenges, maintain strong relationship with Project Managers Lead daily/weekly meetings to coordinate the team and deliver quality work Manage and maintain project safety, maintain OSHA requirements at all times, participate in OAC meetings as required Mentor less experienced construction professionals, track project documentation, tasks and issues Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, and become proficient in Procore Travel will be required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ground‑up low income housing tax credit multifamily construction experience Experience in garden style, podium, wrap and/or open courtyard and urban mid‑rise projects; post‑tension experience desirable Strong reputation for working well with subcontractors, ability to build relationships with stakeholders Manage the entire process from start to finish, including site clearing, earth work, underground utilities, site planning/logistics, lead the field team on site, schedule, evaluate performance, and communicate with Project Manager Qualifications 4‑year degree in construction or related field, or commensurate experience 5‑7 years of experience in garden style multifamily construction site supervision with proven ability to use multiple project‑management software Successful completion of background check and drug screen required Legally eligible to work in the U.S. under I‑9 guidelines Proficient in spoken, read, and written English sufficient to carry out duties DevCo Residential Group is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Devco Residential Group
