Maintainall aspects of the service areas. Serve as a support to the Dining Room team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room/phonestandards and etiquette Expediently and withgreat skill performs polishing/sorting/distributing all types of glasses andsilverware/Ability to identify various types of glassware and silverware Recognizes alllinens and folds for all shifts. Strip linens daily for service Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers Able to clear/set/reset a table(Breakfast/Tea/Dinner) Knowledge of garden setup/breakdown (includingfire-pit seasonally) Storage of flowers and setup/breakdown Location and retrieval ofIce/ will routinely refill ice Can properly break downdishes in wait station #4 Able to reset tables to pristinecondition Maintains organization in WS4 Has understanding of property layoutand where all the rooms are located Demonstrates understanding of TheForbes Travel Guide’s standards QUALIFICATIONS Required Mustbe at least 16 years of age Mustbe well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos Musthave reliable transportation Familiarity withForbes Standards Ability tocommunicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French Certification inalcohol awareness program Certification inCPR Prior experiencewith Resortsuite and Tock SKILLS Ability tocommunicate in English both orally and in writing Stronginterpersonal communication skills both verbal and written Must always beorganized and maintain cleanliness of workstation Ability to speakusing clear and professional language Ability tomulti-task in a fast-paced environment Ability tocross-train across multiple departments and assist when needed Ability to assistguests with questions about the property, it’s history, and surrounding areas PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able tolift 30+ lbs.
