Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: ASAP / October 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call requirements include one week of weekday call every two months (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM following regular shift) and one weekend of 24-hour call coverage every two months. Call volume is generally low, with most call-ins for pacemaker cases averaging approximately 2 hours.

• Collaborate with world-renowned electrophysiologists in a dynamic, research-driven environment focused on innovation and exceptional clinical outcomes
• Gain experience with a comprehensive range of specialized EP procedures including cardiac ablations, device implantations, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extractions, left atrial appendage closures, and Watchman procedures
• Epic EMR experience required; 6-bed unit with daily census of approximately 22 patients
• Multidisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• First-time travelers welcome; assignment duration and benefits to be discussed with qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Electrophysiology Lab nursing experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Proficiency in EP lab procedures including cardiac mapping, ablation, cardioversion, conduction studies, and AICD insertion/programming
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
• Ability to complete urgent credentialing requirements including Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
