HVAC Superintendent

Location: Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Full-Time About the Opportunity We are working with a rapidly growing national mechanical contractor specializing in large-scale HVAC and refrigeration construction, equipment replacements, and multi-site rollout programs for commercial and industrial clients across the United States. We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations, lead installation teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial HVAC and refrigeration projects. Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving field challenges. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, maintaining a zero-incident culture. Conduct daily site meetings, toolbox talks, and progress updates. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure quality installations. Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and project costs. Perform quality control inspections and coordinate commissioning activities. Maintain accurate daily reports, job documentation, and project records. Build strong relationships with customers, inspectors, and trade partners while representing the company professionally. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman managing commercial HVAC/R construction projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, piping, equipment installation, and mechanical construction practices. Experience leading crews on multi-site or large commercial projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred. EPA Certification and applicable trade licenses are a plus. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
