About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience required. License: Active state license required before start date. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). Must-Have: Absolutely no background or license hits. Pending license accepted for submission, must provide application date and application number. License must be issued prior to start date. Description: Must have a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience. No background or license hits are accepted. Pending license candidates must have the application date and application number submitted at the time of application. The license must be issued prior to the start date. If offered with a pending license, the license must be issued before the start date. If accepted, a current photo is required. The photo should be facing forward, taken in front of a plain background, and properly cropped from just above the head to the collarbone. No hats, sunglasses, or other individuals should be included in the frame. Exceptions for head coverings for religious reasons can be made. The photo must be high resolution and in color. Key skills required include experience with various surgical procedures, including anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, appendectomy, and general operating room functions. Strong ability to scrub and circulate in various pediatric surgeries is essential. Familiarity with relevant patient care protocols and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment is expected. Candidates should be comfortable working with patient age groups from neonates to adolescents. Special procedures and equipment relevant to pediatric surgeries may be utilized.
