Reporting to: Senior Product Manager Location: Hybrid (Ocala Office)

JOB SUMMARY:


The Product Specialist will play a key role in defining and executing product strategy, working closely with the

Senior Product Manager to drive product development and market success. This position involves conducting

market research, analyzing trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance existing products

and develop new solutions. The Product Specialist will act as a technical resource for the sales team, support

go-to-market strategies and analyze product performance using tools like Power BI and Salesforce. Additionally,

this role will serve as a customer support escalation point, ensuring product quality, availability, and continuous

improvement.

CORE POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Define and execute the product strategy aligned with the company's goals and market trends.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.

• Develop a clear product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and manufacturing, to develop

new products and improve existing ones.

• Manage the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.

• Ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and marketing campaigns.

• Create product collateral, sales tools, and training materials for the sales team.

• Monitor and analyze product performance in the market, adjusting as needed.

• Continuously monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends.

• Identify opportunities for product enhancements, updates, and improvements.

• Work closely with the engineering team to prioritize and implement product changes.

• Foster collaboration and communication across different departments to ensure product success.

• Collaborate with sales and customer support teams to gather feedback and address customer needs.

• Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure product availability and quality.

• Customer Support Escalation point.

• Technical resource for the Sales Team, including technical demonstrations and presentations to

potential and current customers.

• Data analysis, including building Power BI Dashboards and Salesforce reports

• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS:


• Ability to multi-task and work with cross-functional teams

• Understanding of MARS product offerings, including features, applications, and competitive advantages

• Proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, or other analytic tools to track product performance and market

trends

• Ability to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to support product

development and positioning

• Capacity to analyze product issues, provide solutions, and support customer escalations

• Familiarity with the industry's technology and ability to translate technical information into customerfriendly

language.

• Ability to work with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to drive product success

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating reports, product documentation, and sales

materials

• Organizational skills to manage product-related tasks, timelines, and deliverables

• Ensuring product quality, availability, and continuous improvement through meticulous analysis and

execution

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Math, Business, or a related field

• 2-3 years of working experience in product management or data analytics

• Data Analytics experience required

• Salesforce/CRM experience required

• Product Management experience preferred

• CPQ experience preferred

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and any other endorsements necessary to legally

operate vehicles used while assigned to this position

Work environment:


Work has frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions, occasional exposure

to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), and possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles.

Essential Physical Activities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand, walk, and/or sit. Use hands to

finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, climb, balance, pull, and/or

lift heavy objects, talk or hear; see up close, see far away, and be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• May be required to work overtime or alternative schedules based on project assignments.

• Must be able to operate a computer and associated software programs.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
