Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

We are actively seeking a  Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to join an advanced precision manufacturing organization supporting technically demanding markets. In this high-impact leadership role, you will oversee daily manufacturing execution, develop supervisors and production teams, and strengthen performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. You will work closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to turn customer requirements into effective production plans while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

To Be Successful in This Role, You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience within a high-mix, low-volume and/or contract manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience managing supervisors, leads, and production personnel.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, capacity management, and operational excellence principles.
• Proven experience driving manufacturing KPIs, including safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, labor efficiency, first-pass yield, inventory accuracy, scrap reduction, and cost performance.
• Demonstrated success applying  Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Kaizen, or similar continuous improvement methodologies .
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing instructions, and related technical documentation.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, with  Oracle experience preferred , plus proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

Semiconductor, precision manufacturing, and contract manufacturing experience are strongly preferred.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Direct daily manufacturing activities by aligning production priorities, people, equipment, and available capacity to achieve safe, efficient, quality-focused, and cost-conscious results.
• Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing supervisors and production personnel while supporting hiring, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
• Establish accountability for critical operating metrics and use production data to identify performance gaps, prioritize improvements, and make informed manufacturing decisions.
• Partner with Planning and Customer Service to execute production schedules that effectively balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and business priorities.
• Evaluate capacity and resource utilization, address production constraints, and improve throughput and responsiveness as customer requirements change.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions addressing production, quality, delivery, and operational performance issues.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving product flow and quality, increasing productivity, lowering scrap, and controlling operating costs.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to solve production challenges, improve processes, and support successful new product introductions and manufacturing transfers.
• Strengthen standard work, operating procedures, manufacturing best practices, facility layouts, and workflows while supporting compliance with applicable safety standards, quality systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support annual operating plans, workforce and budget planning, outsourcing evaluations, and make-versus-buy decisions while communicating manufacturing performance, priorities, and risks to leadership.
