Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable PM/night shifts with PM shifts starting at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• On-call requirement of 12 hours per 6-week period with a 30-minute response time
• Call back minimum is 2 hours
• May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Work in a fast-paced Trauma Level II, 18-bed emergency department unit
• Care for diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients
• Patient ratio of 3-4 patients per nurse
• Perform lab draws, nebulizer treatments, and utilize Pyxis medication dispensers
• X-ray staff and respiratory therapy available on-site in the ED
• Required to chart using EPIC; EPIC experience required
• Minimum 5 years of experience required with at least 1 year of travel experience - FIRM
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Scrub colors: Any color
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely manner

Facility:

This facility is home to a Trauma Level II emergency department featuring an 18-bed unit with stroke certification and comprehensive specialty services including cardiac, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory care. The emergency department operates as a fast-paced environment supported by in-house laboratory services, on-site X-ray staff, and respiratory therapy, providing a well-rounded and fully equipped setting for emergency care professionals.
