Software Engineer Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineer, for a W2 contract opportunity! Software Engineer Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85027 or Charlotte, NC, 28202 Work Schedule: Hybrid- in office three days. Duration: 12 months with the potential to extend / convert! This is a W-2 contract opportunity, and candidates must be able to work on our W-2 only. NO C2C or 1099. Top Skills: Preference is for candidates with banking industry experience, ADK (Agent Development Kit) experience, or exposure to LLMs. Must have experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, Backend, or Data-driven development. Required Qualifications 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education. 4+ years of Java experience, including proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot. 2+ years of experience with Python, focused on backend or data-driven development Deep understanding of Reactive Programming, including Web Flux ands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture. Experience with Flink for stream processing and data pipelines. Database expertise with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and Oracle (RDBMS). 2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interfaces (APIs). Job Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies. Exposure to LLMs (Large Language Models), agentic architectures, and prompt engineering concepts. Familiarity with ADK (Agent Development Kit), Playbook, or similar agentic frameworks Leading Utilities Organization
