Description

Position Description – This position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Conduct door-to-door sales outreach to residential and commercial properties within assigned territory
• Identify and approach potential customers, introduce propane services, and explain the advantages of using propane for heating, cooking, and other energy needs
• Provide customers with accurate and detailed information about propane delivery plans, equipment options, pricing, and safety benefits
• Build rapport with homeowners and business owners to understand their energy needs and offer tailored propane solutions
• Qualify leads and capture customer information, scheduling follow-up meetings or appointments when necessary
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and overcome objections to close sales effectively
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs set by your supervisors in writing
• Always maintain a professional and courteous attitude while engaging with customers
• Report daily activity, sales progress, and customer feedback to the Sales Supervisor
• Display working knowledge of ticket placing system
• Drive to and connected with potential customers for a minimum of 75% of the workday
• Remain current on industry developments and emerging trends
• Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
• Work with Operations to schedule service work with customers
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Clean background
• Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous outside sales experience preferred
• Proficiency in all Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills
