YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL… * Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift. * Administer direct care as necessary. * Give and receive shift reports. * Round twice a shift to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. * Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents' conditions. * Assist in developing comprehensive care plans. * Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident. * Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered. * Respond to the resident emergency call system. * Interface with other disciplines to ensure continuity of care and services. * Accompany physicians when making rounds. * Encourage restorative care to obtain maximum resident independence. WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU… * Are a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an LPN with a current license in Florida. * Have at least 6 months of experience in geriatric nursing (a plus). * Have supervisory experience (a plus). * Have basic computer proficiency. * Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression. * Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors. * Maintain the highest level of confidentiality. * Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
