School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Santa Clara, California

This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with experience in both educational and healthcare settings, ready to make a meaningful impact in a full inclusion environment across two campuses (K-3 and 4-8) for the upcoming school year, August 20thJune 10th. Preferred candidates have a strong understanding of mild-moderate disabilities, high-functioning autism, and social cognition, with a passion for fostering student development in inclusive settings. You will collaborate with supervising SLPs and educators committed to student progress and encouraged by an engaged parent community. Qualifications & Experience Active and valid California SLPA license (required) Prior SLPA experience in schools or healthcare Familiarity with mild-moderate disabilities, inclusion models, and social thinking Ability to work with high-functioning spectrum students in collaborative educational environments Excellent communication, organizational, and adaptability skills Key Responsibilities Deliver speech and language services under SLP supervision across K-8 campuses Support IEP goals through direct intervention, progress monitoring, and data collection Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for learning and therapy Collaborate regularly with teaching staff, SLPs, and families to promote student success Document student progress and maintain compliant records What Youll Enjoy MondayFriday daytime hours (7:45 AM3:15 PM, 35 hrs/week) Experience working in a forward-thinking, fully inclusive district setting Opportunity to grow professionally through collaboration and supervision Exposure to a broad range of student needs within a supportive team Eligible sick leave in line with local regulations Embrace a fulfilling role where your expertise as an SLPA makes a daily difference for students.
