Employment Type Full-time Requirements Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Licensure: Valid State Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Location: Ability to commute to or relocate to Butler, KY 41006 prior to starting work. Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) management and X-ray equipment. Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach. Job Description Clinical Care: Conduct thorough dental cleanings, periodontal treatments, and oral examinations using appropriate tools and techniques. Patient Assessment: Assess and document patients' oral health status, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and performing oral cancer screenings. Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations to improve long-term health. Technology Management: Utilize dental software (Dentrix or CareStack) for patient records management and operate medical imaging/X-ray equipment. Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure a safe, hygienic environment in accordance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Collaboration: Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans based on specific patient needs and preferences.
