If you're ready to break boundaries, deliver results, and enjoy the ride along the way, you'll thrive here.This position is responsible for the transportation of all materials and equipment via powered industrial vehicle (PIV) to each cell operation allowing continuous/expeditious production.Job Responsibilities:Operate forklift, read and follow directions, and respond quickly in a fast-paced production environment.Perform the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance and safety standards.Use Epic Scanner for material movement in SAP.Transport materials and baskets to and from work cells as needed to maintain continuous production.Overtime as required/requested.Load and unload trucks, dump scrap, move machinery, etc. as requested.Perform safety checks and basic preventative maintenance daily on the forklifts.Follow safety regulations at all times.Perform additional duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 1 year experience with one or more PIV type (tugger, stand-up, sit-down)Must demonstrate mechanical aptitudeMust be able to acquire forklift license in timely mannerKnowledge of safety regulationsAbility to read and follow written and verbal directions and chartsFlexibility and ability to respond quickly to numerous requests and paging announcementsAlertness and awareness of surrounding activities in all directionsPhysical Requirements:Flexibility to work long hours and other work schedules as neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Extensive standing or sitting, walking, climbing, stooping, bending over, reaching, twisting, arm wrist and hand motion, pushing, pullingManual dexterityGood visual abilityFrequent skin exposure to chemical – based fluids such as coolant, drawing compounds, lubricating oils, etcMental Requirements:Adaptability to train to perform on multiple PIV types.Basic communication, teamwork, and effective interaction with supervisors & co-workersDecision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced work environment, including making timely choices within workflow constraints and understanding when to escalate.Independent task completion – ability to complete work independently without constant supervision or directionSafety and situational awareness in a high-pedestrian environmentWork Environment:This job is performed on the production plant floor and may be in pedestrian-heavy areasVarying temperatures (cold to hot)Infrequent exposure to outside weather environmentFast – paced work environmentSmall, confined space around some machines/equipmentWet, slippery floors in some areasAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
