Clinic hours of 7am-5:45pm Job ID: 182598 Area of Interest: Therapy FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0 Department: Physical Therapy- West Overview Coordinates the physical therapy plan following completion of the assessment as defined by Iowa Licensure requirements. Provides and delegates clinical rehabilitation services to improve and maintain function, focusing on gait training, mobility, range of motion, pain control, strengthening, balance and coordination activities. Acts as a resource to the interdisciplinary team, applying skills of the profession to improve outcomes of persons served. Actions are team oriented to successfully provide quality care and a high level of satisfaction for persons served through evidence-based practice. Responsibilities Evaluates individuals who have medical problems or conditions limiting their ability to move or perform functional activities. Develops, implements, and delegates individualized treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Monitors responses during therapeutic interventions. Supports evidence-based practices. Communicates and collaborates treatment plans with persons served, families, and interdisciplinary team. Displays creativity and innovation in service delivery. Maintains timely and accurate documentation and billing per regulatory and third‑party requirements. Manages resources to maintain efficient operations. Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and maximize patient experience. Demonstrates professionalism and personal growth in daily actions. Promotes professional rehabilitation objectives among team members. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach, considering physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to the patient’s age. Participates in process improvement for care delivery and clinical excellence. Fosters professional relationships to enhance patient access and care delivery. Exhibits flexibility with assignments including hours of operation to meet business and customer needs. Exhibits willingness to accept and learn new skills. Qualifications Education: Graduated from an accredited program in the respective field. Experience: Experience in specialty area preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Current Iowa license as a PT; Current BLS (CPR); Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must communicate effectively with diverse professional, educational, and lifestyle backgrounds; basic computer skills.
