Accounting Specialist

Pay Range: Pay will be commensurate with the experience, skills, and qualifications that the candidate brings. McCON's Support Center team manages commercial construction projects across the continental US. We are a family-owned company known for our experience in commercial construction, our service to our clients, and our performance, both in the field and administratively. We are seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team! Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close processes by reconciling project-related AP and AR accounts. Enter receipts and invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time. Review receipts and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. Assign the correct job cost codes to expenses, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Ensure costs are charged to the appropriate job, phase, and cost category. Work with project managers and field staff to clarify coding and expense details when needed. Help identify and correct coding errors or missing information. Support accurate job cost tracking by ensuring all expenses are entered and coded properly. Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with knowledge of Excel. Organized and able to manage a high volume of receipts and documentation. Construction or job costing experience is a plus but not required.
