Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Production Technicians to support production by setting up, adjusting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality operations. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, optimizing machine performance, and supporting continuous production flow.

Set-Up Technicians are responsible for assembling, calibrating, troubleshooting, and monitoring production equipment while ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and tear-downs for production equipment
• Calibrate and adjust machine settings to meet product specifications and optimize performance
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and technical drawings to ensure accurate configurations
• Monitor machine operation during production and make real-time adjustments as needed
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify product quality using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or escalate to maintenance/engineering teams
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and tooling to minimize downtime
• Set up and maintain tooling, fixtures, and auxiliary equipment
• Document setup parameters, production data, and maintenance activities accurately
• Train operators on machine setup procedures and standard operating practices
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, GMP, ISO, and company safety standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

This is a Permanent position based out of Summerville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $56150.00 - $56150.00/yr.
