What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools and diagnostics. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Conduct routine equipment and facility inspections to identify and resolve potential failures. Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruption. Maintain and monitor building systems including HVAC, compressed air, and plant utilities. Accurately document all maintenance work in logs or CMMS systems. Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumable materials. Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Skills Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude. Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills. Attention to detail in documentation and inspections. A strong safety mindset and commitment to safe work practices. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong time management and task‑prioritization skills. Adaptability in fast‑paced, reactive environments. Clear communication skills when coordinating with production teams. Education & Experience High school diploma required. Trade school certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance. Technical Skills Familiarity with CMMS systems preferred. Working knowledge of safety standards and safe work practices. Physical & Work Environment Requirements This role is performed in a manufacturing environment and requires: Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic and caustic chemicals, volatile materials, and moving machinery. Standing and walking for most of an 8‑hour shift with frequent reaching and handling of materials. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Regular lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting up to 100 lbs. Routine use of hand tools, air‑powered tools, and cleaning solvents. Consistent use of PPE due to potentially hazardous conditions.
