Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating customized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs
• Administer specialized physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on recovery goals, transitional care, and prescribed home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress, adhering to facility and regulatory guidelines
• Engage in multidisciplinary rounds and conferences to ensure cohesive and coordinated care

Qualifications and Certifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Required Certifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications such as in neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in physical therapy is strongly preferred
• Proficient in managing patients with complex medical and mobility conditions
