Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. Expect to work every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The SLP will engage with adult rehabilitation patients who have a variety of diagnoses, including neurological, orthopedic, and other medical conditions that require ARU level of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress in an EHR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in California.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience in Acute Rehabilitation, particularly with MBS/VFSS, is preferred, but candidates with varying levels of experience are welcome to apply.
