Heavy Equipment Mechanic --

We are looking for an  experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We need someone who knows their way around heavy machinery, can diagnose problems efficiently, and takes pride in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to work.

This position is a great fit for a skilled mechanic who is comfortable troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-related issues and can handle repairs from diagnosis through completion.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduled services
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmissions, brakes, steering, and other mechanical components
• Identify equipment problems and determine the proper repair needed
• Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective components
• Perform field repairs and service calls as needed
• Use diagnostic equipment, service manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot problems
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts, and completed work
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
• Communicate equipment issues, repair needs, and downtime clearly with supervisors and operators
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure equipment is safe before returning it to service

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an  experienced mechanic with strong troubleshooting and repair skills . The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently when needed.

Experience working on equipment such as  excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, backhoes, trucks, trailers, and other construction or heavy equipment is preferred.

Candidates should have their own basic hand tools, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform the physical duties associated with heavy-equipment repair.
