This part-time contract position supports a school-based ESY (Extended School Year) assignment, serving K-12 students from July 6th through August 14th. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of NY
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Ability to assess and develop care plans for students across grade levels (K-12)
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff, families, and students
• Experience supporting students with diverse developmental, physical, and learning needs
• Current CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized PT services to school-aged students in accordance with their IEP goals during the ESY program
• Evaluate student needs, create treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
• Adjust interventions based on student progress and program requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
