She Recruits is seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead a busy, metrics-driven Emergency Department within a high-performing regional hospital. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, clinical quality, and strategic initiatives within the Emergency Services department. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-oriented nursing leader with strong ED experience and a passion for advancing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Role Overview:
The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, efficient staffing, and department performance. This leader forecasts volume, manages budgets, develops policies, and fosters a culture of accountability and teamwork. The position plays a critical role in advancing department goals and supporting the hospital's broader operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and staffing of Emergency Services to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Support development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with facility goals
• Foster a culture of collaboration, professional accountability, and continuous improvement
• Monitor departmental performance metrics, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction
• Participate in forecasting, planning, and budget management for Emergency Services
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and organizational standards
• Strengthen staff engagement using evidence-based leadership practices
• Promote positive patient experiences and ensure responsiveness to patient needs
• Collaborate with managers, clinical teams, and hospital leadership to optimize care delivery
• Mentor and support leadership development within the department

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Additional bachelor's degree or approved education plan required
• Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of applicable experience required
• 3+ years of leadership or related ED experience preferred
• Licensed RN in state of practice, or eligibility pursuant to applicable regulations
