Job Duties Inspect incoming materials and components to verify compliance with blueprints, drawings, and quality specifications. Measure dimensions and verify hardware and material requirements using precision inspection tools. Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or products for corrective action. Maintain accurate inspection records, material identification tags, and quality documentation. Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure material compliance and availability. Keep inspection areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and safe. Participate in training, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities. Follow company procedures and complete additional quality-related duties as assigned. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and product specifications. Basic math skills required for measurements, calculations, and dimensional verification. Understanding of quality standards, inspection procedures, and manufacturing documentation. Experience Requirements 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, assembly, maintenance, manufacturing, or a related mechanical field. Experience using inspection and measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, and other precision instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hardware, fasteners, materials, and shop practices. Ability to identify dimensional discrepancies and nonconforming materials. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality. Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production schedules. Physical Capabilities Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or shop environment. Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing inspections throughout the workday. Ability to safely handle materials, components, and inspection equipment. Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and production demands.
