As a valued member of the classroom team, you'll work alongside teachers to support students with diverse learning needs, including those receiving Special Education services and English Language Learner (ELL) support. Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support
• Assist with implementing IEPs, accommodations, and behavior support plans
• Support classroom instruction and learning activities
• Help students with special needs succeed in inclusive classroom settings
• Encourage and assist English Language Learners (ELL)
• Foster a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, transitions, and other school activities
Qualifications
• Washington Paraeducator certification or other district-required qualifications (update if applicable)
• Passion for helping students learn and succeed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Ability to remain active throughout the school day
