About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to a diverse patient population including children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-17), adults, and seniors (ages 65+)
• Support patients across multiple levels of care including detoxification, inpatient, and residential programs
• Assist in the care of patients presenting with behavioral, memory, mental health, and mood disorders
• Utilize paper charting for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in unit reopening activities and contribute to establishing consistent care standards
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience (within the last year) in Behavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing
• Must be open to working with all age groups: children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Proficiency with paper charting
• Availability to work night shifts and every other weekend

• Experience working across multiple psychiatric levels of care (detox, inpatient, residential)
• Familiarity with age-appropriate programming and individualized care planning in a psychiatric setting
• Prior experience in an acute, short-term stabilization environment
