We are looking for a Licensed Registered or Vocational Nurse who takes pride in their work. This individual will be responsible for resident care and directing nursing staff. The RN will develop the plan of care, collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants, and monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are upheld. Qualifications Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required). Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state. Responsibilities Ensure proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment. Make nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care. Collaborate with the resident and members of the healthcare team. Record the administration of medication or any change in patient condition. Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations and all tasks are performed following state and government regulations and safety procedures. Follow procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies. Perform other duties as directed.
