Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Location: Greater Valencia, CA
Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay: $36.00 – $41.00/hr. DOE
Type: 6-Month Temporary Assignment | Onsite
Potential for Full-Time Conversion

JSG is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a 2nd shift opportunity with our well-established manufacturing client in the Greater Valencia area. This is a 6-month temporary assignment with a strong possibility of converting to a full-time position due to continued projects and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations across multiple production workstations.
• Establish production priorities and allocate labor to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Monitor productivity, schedule attainment, On-Time Delivery (OTD), downtime, scrap, and other KPIs.
• Lead shift meetings and communicate safety, quality, and production goals.
• Work closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve production issues.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, process improvements, and waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, clean room protocols, and manufacturing requirements.
• Coach, train, and develop production employees while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Utilize ERP systems, including Made2Manage , and Microsoft Office for reporting and production tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience , preferably in aerospace or medical device manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience .
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with KPI tracking, production metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a clean room environment is preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
