Job Duties
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives.
  • Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Apply evidence-based interventions to enhance motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities for patients.
  • Collaborate with Interprofessional Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive, multifaceted patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to facilitate ongoing progress in their everyday lives.
  • Assess and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment as required, ensuring patients are consistently moving towards their goals.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Engagement in continued education or post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported.
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
