Specimen Processor-3rd shift

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for third-shift work in Tucker, Georgia. The role involves preparing, processing, and routing laboratory specimens for analysis while maintaining accuracy and meeting production targets in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to appropriate staging areas
• Unpack, identify, label, pack, and ship specimens to testing facilities
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
• Resolve and document problem specimens; store excess samples properly
• Meet department activity and production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to accurately identify and handle biological specimens
• Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Preferred: 1+ year lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience
