Job Full Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a manufacturing company in Shirley, MA. This role is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing, assembly, and production support activities to ensure products are built, tested, and prepared for shipment according to quality and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate a variety of production machinery and equipment to support manufacturing operations.
Assemble cables and other electromechanical components
Perform through-hole soldering of electronic components on circuit boards (will train)
Package finished products according to customer-specific labeling and shipping requirements
Conduct basic product testing and accurately enter test results into company systems
Follow work instructions, drawings, and production procedures
Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
Assist with various manufacturing and production tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience such as machine operation or assembly
Soldering experience preferred, particularly through-hole soldering
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to follow hands-on instructions and standardized procedures
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to support multiple areas of production

This is a full time position, Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM. The pay range is $22-25/hr DOE.
