Activities will span front-end interfaces, back-end services, and data layers. This is hands-on development in a mix of corporate and classified environments, building secure and scalable tools that drive real mission outcomes.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications in corporate & classified environmentsBuild responsive front ends (React, Vite, MUI), back-end services (Node, Express, PostgreSQL), and integrate shared tooling (TypeScript)Deploy and manage containerized applicationsBuild and maintain DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for secure continuous deliveryApply secure coding practices aligned to OWASP guidelines and NIST 800-53 controlsArchitect and implement Zero Trust network and application designPartner with program security officers, data engineers, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into working softwareRequired QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance with a current CI Polygraph (within the last 5 years)U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)8+ years of software development experience across the full stackAI-augmented development experienceDocker / Kubernetes container orchestrationDevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline experienceSecure coding experience (OWASP, NIST 800-53)Preferred QualificationsSoftware development on Intelligence Community programsIron Bank / DCAR hardened container experienceInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)Zero Trust architecture implementation (NIST 800-207)AI/ML integration into software platformsCISSP, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or AWS Solutions ArchitectBS in Computer Science or a related fieldAbout SphinxSphinx is a mission-focused intelligence, counterintelligence, and cyber solutions firm founded in 2018 by professionals from the Special Operations, Intelligence, and Cyber Warfare communities.
